OLD HICKORY SHEDS

Materials

  • The siding on the treated product line is premium grade 5/8 inch T1-11 pressure treated plywood.

  • The other option for siding is the painted product line, 3/8 inch LP Smart        Panel siding with a 50 yr limited warranty.

  • 12 Standard Paint colors and over 1500 Sherwin Williams colors available to order.

  • The floor decking is 5/8 inch pressure treated plywood or 5/8 inch tongue & groove 50 yr Advantech Performax flooring

  • 3/4 inch floor upgrade available.

  • The skids and floor joists are pressure treated.

  • The exposed nails are ring shank & galvanized for maximum strength, which also means no rust spots.

  • All our buildings come with locks and keys.

  • 30 year Metal roofs standard. Shingle roofs also available.

Construction and Craftsmanship

  • Wall studs on wood sided buildings are 24 inch on center, doubled under siding seams to help seal building, same strength as 16 inch on center (as in home construction).

  • Floor joists are 2x4's, 16 inch on center and set into notched skids to prevent twisting. Floor joists are 12 inch on center on all Garages.

  • Skids are pressure treated 4x6's not 4x4's.

 

  • Our highly skilled work force use Amish craftsmanship on every building.

    • Any building can be customized to fit your needs. If you see a building you like, but want to add more options, remove an option, or move standard features, let us know. We can fulfill your need.

    • Our builders are very creative and equipped to meet customer requests.

    • On special order buildings, you can specify what kind of roof you want. We have a variety of different metal and shingle colors to choose from.

Product Warranties & Low Price Guarantee

5 Year Warranty: We offer a five year warranty on materials and workmanship.  Please contact us for full details.

Limited Lifetime Warranty: On all pressure treated wood, there is a lifetime warranty against termites and fungal decay (from pressure treating company).

50 Year limited Warranty On Painted Siding: On our painted product line, there is a 50 year limited warranty on siding (from the siding manufacturer).

Delivery & Easy Setup

  • Buildings at the sales lot can usually be delivered within 5 business days (weather permitting).

  • Ordered buildings can usually be delivered within 2-3 weeks (weather permitting).

  • Note: Non-standard metal colors on any building will add one week to the lead time.

  • No site preparation necessary (if site is no more than 2 feet out of level).

  • Equipped with the latest equipment, our rubber track Shed Mule can place it just where you need.

  • Free setup includes leveling with customer supplied concrete blocks and driver supplied pressure treated shims. Drivers can supply concrete blocks for $3 a block. Treated shims are supplied free of charge.

  • Delivery - first 30 miles free, over 30 miles subject to additional charge.

Ravenna Structures; Old Hickory Buildings, LLC; and their associates are not responsible for permits, covenant searches, restrictions, set backs, yard damage, or underground damage. Please contact your local building inspector or Homeowners Association for information. It is the customer's responsibility to decide if ground conditions are unsuitable for delivery. Free delivery includes one trip up to 30 miles one way, over 30 miles subject to a $2/mile (8ft,9ft and 10ft wide) or $3.50 mile (12ft and 14ft) charge one way, and any additional trips may also incur charges to the customer. Free setup includes leveling, starting with one corner at ground level, up to 3ft with customer supplied blocks, we can supply blocks for $3 each. Custom Orders require a Non-Refundable deposit to order, ask for details. We reserve the right to refuse any sale. No sale is final until approval by Old Hickory Buildings home office and building is set up at customer's location.
